Biography
Sam (given name: Uri) Skowronski is an Associate Attorney at Christy, Keith & Donnell, Family Law Group, P.C., where he practices in all areas of family law, including property division, child and spousal support, custody, reimbursement claims, and school choice matters. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, a master’s degree from Harvard University, and his J.D. from the University of California College of Law, San Francisco. During law school, he received the CALI Excellence Award in Contracts Drafting and was an active member of the Family Law Association.
Before joining Christy, Keith & Donnell, Mr. Skowronski was an Associate at Hart Ginney LLP, where he practiced exclusively in family law. He also served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Stephen Pulido, then Presiding Judge of the Alameda County Superior Court, Family Law Division. In addition, he completed CASA University’s extensive training program and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Skowronski spent 17 years working in public education.
Outside the office, Mr. Skowronski enjoys spending time with his two children. Together they can often be found playing soccer, biking, or cooking. He also enjoys gardening, swimming, mountain biking, visiting local farmers’ markets, solving crosswords, and relaxing with an espresso at a neighborhood café.
