Biography
DeAnna Thieme is a paralegal with Christy, Keith & Donnell Family Law Group. She works closely with the attorneys and clients, providing support in all aspects of their cases, including discovery, court filings, document management, and scheduling. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Thieme worked for the Alameda County District Attorney's office.
Ms. Thieme holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Cal State East Bay where she was on the Dean's list. She has an expansive knowledge and experience in trauma informed and restorative practices which has been utilized in her past employments with the Alameda County District Attorney's Victim/Witness Division assisting with criminal cases and victim support, an advocate for at-risk students at an East Bay Title 1 school, and as a supervisor at a nonprofit residential recovery program for women and children. Her dedication to assisting others and her unique skillset have earned her a role on the CAL OES STOP VAW task force in support of victim youth services.
Ms. Thieme was born and raised in Hayward, California and now lives in the tri-valley area with her family. She enjoys lifelong learning, crisis intervention, problem solving, research, and expanding her knowledge of the legal field. Outside of work, Ms. Thieme enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and continuing her education.
