Biography

Ms. Griffin is an Associate at Christy, Keith & Donnell Family Law Group, practicing in all areas of family law including marital dissolutions, property characterization and division, child and spousal support, high conflict custody disputes, domestic violence, and post-judgment enforcement and modification proceedings. She has also assisted many clients in successfully petitioning the Court for and obtaining gender and associated name changes.

Ms. Griffin obtained her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and thereafter relocated to California to attend law school at the University of San Francisco School of Law where she received her J.D. and passed the California Bar in 2015. During law school, Ms. Griffin clerked with the San Francisco Unified Family Court and mediated for pro-per litigants in both San Francisco and Marin County. She also served as a Law and Global Justice Forum Technical Editor and Co-chair of the Community Service Committee of the Student Bar Association. She currently serves as a volunteer attorney with the AIDs Legal Referral Panel. 

Ms. Griffin has practiced Family Law exclusively since February 2016, initially with a boutique firm in the East Bay and thereafter as an associate with Metoyer Law Offices in San Francisco, where she had dual roles as a litigator and mediator. She is a zealous advocate and understands her clients’ unique needs as she guides them through the emotional and logistical challenges of family law. She also has assisted many clients in successfully obtaining name and gender changes. She is committed to helping her clients reach the best possible resolution for themselves and their families, whether through mediation, out of court settlement, or litigation.  Ms. Griffin has received the honors of being elected by Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers' Magazine as a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year from 2022 through 2025 as well as being named one of the Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers under 40 in 2022.

Ms. Griffin understands the emotions that are inherent in Family Law and is passionate about helping her clients through the process with as much peace and grace as possible.

In her spare time, Ms. Griffin likes exploring nature and spending time with her family, which includes her partner, dog, cats, and chickens. She can also be found painting or taking lyra classes at the circus center in San Francisco.
